Jerome McCuin serves as Vice President of Heritage Link Brands and oversees the company’s technological assets and direction. He has held IT positions with AT&T, Disney and Verizon and is the founder of Back Office Boss, serving the needs of emerging American businesses. A graduate of the University of Washington, McCuin also spent a year in Seoul, Korea studying technology management, economics and policy. From his base in Asia, McCuin brings technological innovation as well as a knowledgeable first point contact to our constituents in Hong Kong and the Philippines. D'Neisha Simmons Jendayi serves as Vice President of Global Communications for Heritage Link Brands, LLC. She manages the company's brand, overseeing media and partnership relationships. Simmons Jendayi brings extensive communication, multicultural outreach and general management experience from her work in key positions at Ketchum Public Relations, the Kaiser Family Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Coalition. Simmons Jendayi graduated with honors from Stanford University and is certified by the UK-based Wine and Spirits Educational Trust (WSET). A lover of people and cultures, she has traveled to over 30 countries. She serves on the National Advisory Board of Stanford's Haas Center for Public Service and is an emeritus board member of the National Black Alumni Association. |

Carole Solomon is Vice President of Business Development for Heritage Link Brands. An expert at building partnerships, she has a broad skill set, including brand management, consumer/b2b marketing, multi-platform integration, content development, and strategic planning. Carole has a successful track record of development and production for critically and commercially acclaimed film and television properties released via MGM, Walt Disney Company, Dimension and Miramax Films. Over the past 15 years Carole has also developed campaigns and programming for companies such as Rand McNally, Los Angeles Music Center, Comcast, and Doubleday. Advisory Board Teresa Clarke is the chairman and CEO of Africa.com LLC. She re-launched the high-tech company in 2010 after resigning from her position as a Managing Director in investment banking at Goldman Sachs & Co. Clarke joined Goldman Sachs after graduate school and worked in the investment banking division and became the first African American woman Managing Director in the firm’s history. Clarke received her AB in economics, cum laude, from Harvard College, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Daniel Isenberg is Professor of Entrepreneurship Practice at Babson Executive Education. Since 1981 Daniel has taught at Harvard and Columbia, has been an entrepreneur and venture capitalist in Israel, and has been an angel investor in over ten countries. Daniel is a frequent participant at Davos and the G20 and blogs for HBR, Huffington Post and others. In 2009 Daniel established the Babson Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Project (BEEP) to help societies around the world create the policies, structures, programs, and climate that foster entrepreneurship. In this capacity, he has conducted projects in numerous countries, including Columbia, Brazil, Denmark, Canada, and the United States. Daniel has published several seminal articles in the Harvard Business Review, including “Entrepreneurs and the Cult of Failure,” “How to Start an Entrepreneurial Revolution,” and “The Global Entrepreneur.” He is also the author of the Harvard Business Review Press book, Worthless, Impossible, and Stupid: How Contrarian Entrepreneurs Create and Capture Extraordinary Value. Dave Jefferson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Burdell Properties and Managing Director (MD) of Silkbush Mountain Vineyards, a 215 acre hillside wine farm located in the Western Cape of South Africa. Mr. Jefferson is responsible for the general management for all of Burdell’s affiliated corporate, vineyard and real estate investment entities. He received an A.B. degree in Economics from Stanford University in 1965, and an M.B.A. degree, emphasizing finance, from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1967. Robbi Stiell brings over 18 years of sales and leadership experience from General Mills Inc. and Diageo North America. While at Diageo USA, Robbi served as Director of National Accounts and Diageo's On-Premise National Account Sales Internal Brand Team Liaison for the top three marketing teams: Global Priority Brands, Wines, Guinness USA, and was awarded the Prestigious Supplier of the Year 2006 by Outback Steakhouse. Darrell West is Director of Investments for the Tiso Group, a South African investment firm. Prior to joining Tiso, Darrell worked at Coopers & Lybrand, Goldman Sachs, and the Southern Africa Enterprise Development Fund. His experience includes debt and equity capital raising and private equity investment in the United States, Europe and Africa. Darrell received a BSc in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
